  Canton Rescue Story

Joni, Judy, Karen, CHARITY, Roger and Mickey (the rescuer)

CHARITY is the new mascot for the Canton Fire Department.  They are going to use her in the educational program they have for the elementary schools.  With Karen's help, they are going to teach her to "stop, drop & roll" for the fire safety!!  Charity was rescued by Mickey after she wondered into her driveway.  Mickey found Joni and the rest is history!!  As chance may have it, the Canton Fire Department wanted to get a Dalmatian they could train for their safety programs and he also contacted Joni.  It was a perfect match!  Charity was brought up-to-date on her shots, she was spayed and now has a great home with Roger and the other members of the department.  You may even see Charity riding the truck on calls.  Here is a link to the article in the Cherokee Ledger (scroll the page to find the article).  It's always great to have a happy ending for a Dalmatian rescue.
