Shoup Board: Rick Wilson, Ceci DeSio, Christy Brown Dues: Dues are payable at the beginning of each calendar year (or at the first meeting). They are $15 per year for individual membership and $25 per year for a family membership. Meetings: Club meetings are held at least once quarterly and are based on the meeting schedule voted into effect each year by the membership. Events: The Club currently sponsors, organizes and operates 2 Dalmatian specialty shows annually, one in the spring in Perry, Georgia and the second event in the Fall in Atlanta. Currently this show is for conformation only. Expansion to include obedience, rally or any other performance events would need to be discussed and voted upon by the membership, with application for approval to add events to the program to the AKC. Additional events that the club can consider sponsoring include Breed Education day (for the general public invitation); match shows, training seminars, Christmas and awards parties, etc. Club by-laws: A copy of the club by laws is provided to all members upon enrollment in the club. The club by-laws can be changed by the club, usually this is done via selection of a By laws committee, by the membership, where changes proposed by the committee are submitted for voting approval to the general membership. Officers, Board of directors & Committee Chairs: Board members, Officers of the club and committee chairman positions are nominated typically by a nominating committee, with floor nominations accepted during the club meeting preceding the actual voting session. All positions are voted on once annually by the general membership. |
