Joni
Joni has been actively
involved with the Dalmatian breed since getting her first Dalmatian, “Oreo”, in
1987. Joni always lived with dogs, although not originally those of the spotted
variety. Her family owned and her father trained many field and hunting dogs
during her youth, so life with dogs has always been a natural fit for Joni.
After acquiring Oreo, Joni became interested in breeding and the world of
purebred show dogs, and had her first litter of Oreo kids in 1990. With that
first litter, she established Starwood Dalmatians, and a breeding program that
has produced numerous champions over the years. Joni is an active member of Sawnee Mountain Kennel club and teaches the club sponsored conformation dog show
handling classes through the Family Pet Obedience Center location in Cumming,
Georgia. Currently Joni’s at-home Starwood family includes Deacon,
Frankie, Wesley, Ice Man, Shammie, Mack, Jennie, Dusty and her very own bird dog (who thinks
she has spots) Gunner Girl (an English setter). For more information about

Ceci
Ceci has been in dogs for probably her whole life, she comes from a
family of dog show people. Ceci has bred and shown Dals under Flashpoint
Dalmatians for many years and has finished many conformation and performance
title Dals. She is certified to judge CGC and also has had experience with
Bullmastiffs -- and currently has a new bullmastiff puppy!! Currently she has the following Dals with her: Pagan, about
5
years old; Kodak and Olive about 2 years old.

Chris
Chris has 2 Dals right now, and has been involved in dogs for quite a few
years, he and his mom both want to learn more about the breed and and to get
involved in obedience training and work with their newest Dal. Chris’s older
Dal, Duke is a rescue, and Dutch, his younger boy, is a bit over a year old.
Judy A.
Judy has had a long history with Dals, having 5 over the years. She
lost her first two, Madison and Bandit, last year at the age of 13. She
currently has her newest Dal addition, Brinkley (Ch. Starwood's You've Got Mail
RN CGC) who was owner handled in
conformation to his championship, working in advanced rally and soon obedience. He recently obtain his Rally Novice title!! He also has his CGC
certificate and Judy is training him in obedience and rally
and hopes to eventually get into tracking and agility. Judy has started a

Judy is also a member of the DCA and the Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club. Brinkley
lives with "Dalador" Gracie who is 7˝ and Molly who is about 2 years old, both
of these are Judy's rescue kids.
Mary Jane & Carl
Mary Jane has had several Dals before now, currently she owns and show 2
dals, Gaby in both conformation (a recent champion) and in
obedience, rally and agility. Imp is being shown in these events also and is
getting logs of titles in motion including having her CGC. Mary Jane is also a
member of Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club and DCA.
Christy & James
Christy and James have 4 Dalmatians now, they are not currently competing
in any special performance events but are inspired to learn more about
possibilities. They love to take their Dals to the park to play. Their
3 dals are Marley who is 12 years old, Ziggy is now about 2 (and sister to
Judy's Brinkley), and
Bing who is 6 months old.
Karen
Karen relocated from Michigan to Georgia, and is also a member
of DCA, the Grand Rapids Michigan Agility Club and the Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club. Karen is active with her Dals in both
conformation and obedience and also offers instruction in obedience and
agility. Her Dals were awarded numerous, nearly 17, or more, titles
in performance events in the 2006 year. Her current Dals, are Polo who is

years old, Sage who is 7, and Bailey who is 6 years of age. Titles of each
dog are literally too numerous to list and continues to grow!!
